Milou Voorwinden is a recent graduate of the product design department at ArtEZ university of the Arts. Her graduate work ‘Evolving patterns’ is the result of an experimental way of working, and consist of applied and autonomous objects that take a spatial form.
Voorwinden explores different kinds of materials, listens to their properties, and lets the woven structures evolve from a two dimensional structure into a three dimensional shape. With this working method she wants to create innovative shapes with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and detail.
